nowhere academy
Over the last ten years the nowherecommunity has been developing and codifying its practices - informed by both ancient and modern wisdom traditions - in its quest to release the creative potential of individuals, teams and organisations.
The nowhereacademy is making our portfolio of training and development more available as tailored programmes for organisations wishing to develop a culture of breakthrough for their leaders and catalysts. It is our intention in the longer term to make these programmes available as open workshops.

The art of breakthrough coaching
Breakthrough Coaching for Performance
In fast moving, changing business environments organisations need to learn and change faster and with more flexibility than their competitors. This means that learning and development needs to be as close to operational activity and as in the moment as possible. This requires a leadership capability to coach people formally and informally on the job in a way that engages others and releases their inherent potential. Coaching is a focused approach to personal development through job related performance.
This training is designed for leaders and coaches who wish to create breakthrough in levels of individual and team performance.
Breakthrough Coaching for Innovation
Innovative ideas seem to come out of nowhere. They provide fresh, insightful answers to old questions and open up new pathways to meeting customer needs, increasing speed to market or reducing costs. When they are discovered they release a huge amount of energy inside the organisation. The key is to become more aware of the conditions required to bring forward these ideas. With awareness, the knowledge and wisdom of our people can be tapped into and on finding answers to the questions that stand between us and exciting futures. Coaching for Innovation introduces leaders to the skills required to breakthrough and supports them over a three0month period while they experiment back in the business on real projects.
This training is designed for leaders and managers who know they need to innovate in order to deliver against their strategies. It gives them an experience of going beyond current ways of thinking and working to discover how to develop the necessary environments for creative breakthrough
Breakthrough Coaching for Systemic Change
Coaching others to see an organisation as a system of interconnected parts enables leaders to manage change more effectively. By being more aware of the hidden dynamics that can often block change, leaders are better able to anticipate the unintended consequences of actions and break through to change with optimal benefits for the whole system.
This training is designed for senior level leaders and internal catalysts leading complex changes who wish to heighten their own systemic awareness and to develop fresh, energising ways of coaching others to release the creative potential of the system.
The Way of nowhere
The art of inspiring-innovation: 4-doors
A year-long process, which begins with a PurposeQuest, designed to support the transition from the intuitive insights of innovation into the form of innovations which return our gifts to our people. It takes place across a year as four 'doorways' which must be passed through. Each doorway lasts between three or four days. Entry is by interview and mutual agreement.
Catalyst development
Introductory modules

Creative-catalysts form close strategic relationships with senior leaders to help those leaders hold, build or shift the energy of individuals, teams and wider cultures - in order to achieve transformation and gain cut through on business critical issues.
